Olympic is the high end fishing rod company in Japan, so we are good at developing and producing the light and strong shafts as we do on the fishing rods. The most popular weight is around 50g, we have 65g shafts in our lineup though.

99% of material we use for our shafts is from Toray. M40X and T1100G are the highest quality material of Toray and we use them on full length of shafts.

We have our own factory in Wakayama, Japan. The most distinctive feature of our shaft is called Resin Control. Most of shafts made by other company contains a lot of resin (30~37% of the shaft weight), but our shafts’ resin is only 24~30% of the weight. That means our shaft has more carbon fiber even if you buy the same weight shaft. (We think resin is just the fat and carbon fiber is muscle.
